Steve Bowen

I was born in Ridgecrest, CA in middle of the Mojave Desert. Yet, I consider myself a Durango local. I graduated from Durango High School in 2005. I lived in Norrtälje, Sweden my senior year of high school as a Rotary foreign exchange student. I moved to Sweden not knowing a word of Swedish, and came back to the States completely fluent. I studied media for the year where I learned how to generate ads through Photoshop and Illustrator along with . Sweden was a great place to visit, I will always consider it my “home away from home”.
I received my Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Fort Lewis College in 2009. During my sophomore year, I went on a trimester abroad to Regensburg, Germany. Twenty four other students and I studied international business for four months. Regensburg was a great small city to live in. I was able to travel with ease because of the train system that went through the town.
Once I got my real estate license, I decided that Durango was paradise and had no desire of leaving. I enjoy most anything having to do with the outdoors. Since I take an interest in mountain biking and skiing, Durango is the perfect place for me.
